The Method
- Activate the Preservation: Warm your distilled water slightly (around room temperature or lukewarm is perfect) in a glass vessel. Add the Geogard Ultra powder and stir until it completely dissolves and the water is perfectly clear.
- Cold-Infusion Extraction (keep seeds whole): Add the whole organic chia seeds directly into the preserved distilled water. Stir thoroughly to prevent clumping. Allow the mixture to infuse undisturbed for a minimum of 4 hours (or overnight in the refrigerator). Note: Do not blend the seeds; the whole seeds must naturally secrete their mucilage to maintain a pristine, clear gel.
- Isolate the Mucilage: Pour the mixture into a high-density nut milk bag, fine muslin cloth, or a clean nylon mesh filter. Squeeze firmly to express the pure, translucent gel into a clean glass bowl. Discard the spent whole seeds.
- Refine the Foundation: Transfer the isolated, clear mucilage and the pure aloe vera gel into a high-speed blender. Apply 8 to 10 brief pulses. This essential step breaks down the dense mucilage bonds to create a perfectly silky, homogenous fluid base.
- Activate the Slurry: In a separate glass beaker, combine the vegetable glycerin and hyaluronic acid powder. Stir vigorously until a smooth, uniform, honey-like paste forms. This step is crucial to prevent the hyaluronic acid from clumping when introduced to water.
- Master Incorporation: Slowly pour the active slurry into your blended chia foundation, stirring gently to distribute. Cover and let the formulation rest for 4 to 6 hours. The hyaluronic acid will fully hydrate, transforming the liquid into a cohesive, luxurious gel. Transfer into sterilized glass storage vessels.
